- KkristinSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoWe dined here to celebrate a birthday and made a reservation in advance, mentioning the occasion. The food and service were both great, but it would have been a nice touch if the birthday had been acknowledged in some way—perhaps a small treat or even a 'Happy Birthday' when we checked in. Little gestures like that make celebrations feel extra special. Overall, it was a good experience, but that detail would have made it truly memorableMore infoKokkari EstiatorioPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.8
- PpatSan Francisco Bay Area •18 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoEvery time we eat at this restaurant, the food is wonderful. The service is attentive and the ambience is pleasant. We had dinner with long time friends that we haven’t seen in a while and we had a lovely table by the window where we could easily talk since we like to taste a lot of things we had the french fries which are delicious and a special which was a mini crab tostada, which was also yummy we shared the hummus and the pizza and the crème brûlée for dessert. I don’t have anything to say except make a reservation this place rocks!More infoACRE Kitchen and BarPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Oakland•4.6
- DDeeSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWhat a great dining experience!!! Elia hit it out of the park in all 3 major areas: food, service, & atmosphere. It was our first time dining at Elia, and it did not disappoint. We ordered 2 appetizers (eggplant humus w/pita) and the calamari. Both were outstanding!!! For dinner we had the seafood paella, and the beet salad. We shared both, and we were plenty full. Presentation of the food was impressive, everything looked and tasted delicious. For dessert we both had Greek coffee, as well as baklava and the poached pear. Wow, simply superb!!! Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Lots of food runners, who all were smiling and nice. It’s good a bit of a noise level, but I think it adds to the experience, and we could always hear ourselves talking. What a great time, can’t wait for the next timeMore infoElia - Walnut CreekPrice: Expensive• Greek• Walnut Creek•4.7
- JJoanAtlanta Metro •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThis was our first time at Dalida, we went for my husband's birthday. We found out about it on Check Please Bay Area and wanted to try it. The hostess was very gracious when we showed up late due to traffic. We were seated at the chef's counter and it was THE best seat in the house. Our server was incredible and always around. Jerry the Wine manager was extremely knowledgeable about their extensive wine lists and how to pair up our preferences with the food we were ordering. We had a delicious crisp, dry white from Greece (forgot to take a pic of the label so I don't remember the varietal) but similar to an Albariño. A few of the stand out dishes were the Breaking Bread appetizer, Lamb pasta, and the Trout. We had a chance to thank Chef Laura Ozyilmaz in person as she fluttered about the kitchen and dining room. Overall we loved it and would go back again.More infoDalidaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Presidio•4.7
