- MmanfredLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoLast night, we had the pleasure of dining at Shirley Brasserie, located in the iconic Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the elegant and inviting ambience. The decor seamlessly blends classic Hollywood glamour with modern sophistication, creating a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The food was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish was a delightful blend of flavors and textures, showcasing the chef's creativity and attention to detail. The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a great experience. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and accommodate any special requests we had. Overall, Shirley Brasserie exceeded our expectations in every way. We can't wait to return and explore more of their exquisite menu.More infoShirley BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French American• Hollywood•4.5
- SStevenVIPLos Angeles •14 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe Vespertine experience is off the charts amazing. This was our second visit (our first was pre-pandemic). Some things have changed about the experience, but what you truly are there for, the food, hasn't and it is absolute art. I've been a Jordan Khan fan for a long time, and every time I'm at one of his restaurants, I'm always awed by his creativity. The menu items always work together to tell a story, but the flavor profiles are so different with each course. The service is first rate knowledgable and friendly. Both times we've visited we've had a great time with the service staff. They know the menu deeply, and love to talk about it, or any other fun topic that comes up. The restaurant isn't pretentious at all. It's a bit like being at home, especially if you sit upstairs with a larger party, sitting on your patio or deck and being served the meal of a lifetime. If you do sit upstairs, definitely bring a jacket b/c it's open air. There's heaters and blankets, but it still can be chilly. We went two days ago and all of us are still thinking about he experience, and not the cost. Which is pretty remarkable considering how costly this restaurant is, but both times I've gone to Vespertine, I've left thinking, 'That was totally worth it!'More infoVespertinePrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Culver City•4.8

- TTIFFANYLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined on 3 Nov 2024Great food, tea and ambience! My sister and I very much enjoyed our tea time! It’s was a nice little getaway away from all the hustle and bustle of LA life. Located conveniently in the city, there was plenty of parking. We loved it and will be back soon.More infoRose & Blanc Tea Room & VenuePrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Koreatown•4.5
- VVictoriaLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined on 28 Jul 2024We made reservations through Open Table months ago and never received notice that they are not yet open. All dressed up and got there to a construction zone. We called and never received a call back. We messaged them through Insta and never received a reply. Things happen, openings are delayed, but a phone call would have been appreciated. I received multiple reminders of my reservation, they HAVE to have some sort of communication with Open Table, but no one bothered to get in touch with us so we could make other plans. Happy Anniversary to us! 😒 ****We received a lovely note from the ownership and will be dining with them upon opening. At that time, we’ll let you know how it was. The note alone was reason to update our review.****More infoSettecento DTLAPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•5
