The food is beyond excellent - I've never had a mediocre meal here - they are always stunning. The only problem I have, is the self discipline needed, not to eat too much of the first course, as you HAVE to keep space for the puddings. The chocolate dessert is to die for - it is just sublime. Dark chocolate with a hint of chili topped with some cooling cream. My mouth is watering just at the memory of it. If you've not been to this restaurant, it is an essential try - I think it is unique in London and extremely good. Last night was not an exception - absolutely fantasticMore infoPachamamaPrice: Very Expensive• Peruvian• Marylebone•4.6

- CChrisvipLondon •13 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI had a business dinner to organize, so I asked London area friends what they would suggest in the Paddington area. Ayllu was consistently recommended, much to my surprise. I had gone here over 3 years ago and remember enjoying a fairly standard but good sushi. Paddington has been undergoing a lot of changes, so I had heard, and I expected to see many new hipsterish places with old guard ones shuttering. While this is true of the area, Ayllu is still going strong. The sushi is excellent. The fare is standard. Other dishes are excellent and all fairly traditional Japanese food I was especially excited to get a some of the South American dishes like ceviches. The place was crowded, even on a Wed night. So, if you want to get authentic, traditional, delicious Japanese/South American food that is a little nicer than a noodle shop, go here! My friends did not steer me wrong. Oh, and the prices are amazing, considering what you get (maybe about $50 per person excluding alcohol).More infoAylluPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Paddington•4
- FFredericvipLondon •215 reviews4.0Dined on 9 Oct 2024Delicious food at Chotto Matte, and some good suggestions by our waiter. On a Thursday night the band and music were very loud, at least to our opinion and made it difficult to have a conversation. Pretty expensive but justified by the location. On balance a fun option in Marylebone.More infoChotto Matte MarylebonePrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Marylebone•4.4
