Best Pizza Bars in North Central Phoenix

What a lovely little bistro tucked into a neighborhood mall. Very convenient for a dinner before going to the MIM for a concert. Very cozy ambiance, good waiters and staff. We all enjoyed our food. We would go back.

Without question, the best pizza I’ve had anywhere in the world. The salads are fantastic and the stuffed peppadews were sensational! Bruschetta is also excellent. The “ZA” pizza is addictive. Just tried Neapolitan Tartufo for dessert: shades of a week in Rome many years ago: I’m still dreaming of it! We always feel welcome and valued as staff is professional but warm and friendly! Love love love this treasure!

My wife and I saw this pizzeria on Dave Portnoy’s One Bite reviews, which he rated one of Phoenix’s best. Dave is usually spot on with what we like and Il Bosco was no different. The pizza here is amazing. It can stand toe to toe with Pizza Bianco which is very high praise. They have lots of variety on their pies with high quality ingredients, fantastic San Marzano sauce (I am a red pie only guy), and a tasty crust with some good undercarriage. If you like wood fired pie, give Il Bosco a try. It’s the real deal.
