Best Pizzerias in Solana Beach

Our first time dining at Elvira was an incredible experience! If I could, I’d give more than 5 stars for the exceptional service. Andrea, our server, made our night unforgettable with her wonderful recommendations and genuine care. I had the Rigatoni alla Norcina, which was absolutely delicious, while my husband ordered the Super Arrabiata Pizza. He found it a bit over spicy, and Andrea immediately offered to bring an additional dish to ensure he enjoyed his meal. We declined since we were happy overall, but her thoughtfulness didn’t stop there—she surprised us with a complimentary dessert to make our date night extra special. We also enjoyed a half bottle of Primitivo wine that paired perfectly with the pasta, bringing out its rich flavors. The cozy, charming ambiance truly makes you feel like you’re in Italy. We’ll be back for sureeeee 🫶 and highly recommend!

Great meal as always! Love the food here and will certainly be back. I had the pork chop and risotto special which was fantastic. Others in our group also loved their choices. We brought a bottle of wine and the corkage fee was $25. It was a bit on the loud side for a table of 8 to hear each other, but in a way that's part of the experience.

Fabulous lunch. Food was hot and delicious, all my "exception" requests were met. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and delightful. My only complaint was that it was a bit cold inside--door was open. But that's it. Can't wait to go again!

One of the best restaurants in San Diego. Our first 3 restaurants served warm, bland, mediocre food. Being a foodie from Chicago, I am particular about what I consume. Wonderful wait staff, piping hot meals, strong cocktails and generous portions defined our meal.

Dinner was delicious. The pastas and pizzas exceptional and beautiful. The service was excellent. Our go-to Italian restaurant.
