There’s nothing fancy about this pub but with the addition of a log burner and great food it is now busy, friendly and enjoyable. I’m fussy about roast dinners and this one is all cooked from scratch with fresh veg and local butcher’s meat. Main course was exception more than enough to satisfy the biggest appetite. Only the children had desert but there were clean plates so that too was a hit.
