- IIanManchester/Greater Manchester •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI recently enjoyed a delightful lunchtime meal with friends at The Nags Head, and it was an experience worth sharing. The pub exudes a warm and cosy charm, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed get-together. The menu was full of tempting options, but we opted for the rarebit and a hearty pie for our mains. Both dishes were absolutely delicious—comfort food at its finest. The Welsh rarebit was rich, cheesy, and perfectly seasoned, while the pie was a masterpiece, with a golden, flaky crust and a filling that was both flavorful and satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of this lovely pub. It’s clear that great care goes into both the food and the overall experience. If you’re looking for a cosy spot with excellent food and a great ambiance, I highly recommend The Nags Head. I’ll certainly be back!More infoThe Nags HeadPrice: Expensive• Pub• Beeston•4.6

- MmichaelManchester/Greater Manchester •6 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoBooked for 4 people at 5pm . Nice warm welcome and drinks served quickly before being shown to our table . Nice cosy table ( by the radiator too 🙂) and looked after very well by the staff . Food delivered in a nice steady order and nothing was too much trouble if we needed anything . The girl in charge was funny and entertaining, keeping us happy all the way . We were in there 3 1/2 hrs and it didn’t feel anything like that , proving to be an excellent evening out in the Travellers Rest . Look forward to our next visit soon.More infoThe Travellers RestPrice: Moderate• Pub• Chorley•4.3
