Sampled the lunch time menu which had a good choice of food for £11.50 plus a drink. Settled for the fish, chips and mushy peas which was an ample portion for a lunch time. Good service from Jaydene and didn’t have too long to wait for the food. The pub was nicely decorated for the Christmas season, very festive and cheery.

Brilliant food, excellent service and Cara and Jordan were superb hosts. Recommended wine choice which was exceptional. Will definitely go back to this place again. Cara did a fantastic job advertising the travellers rest on Facebook which is why we booked.
