    We were with friends and despite some reviws we had a lovely meal. The specials which was the xmas burger and slow rosdted pork belly were delicious. Also the steak and ale pie. Everything was hot. The winter berry cheesecake was the nicest I havevhad for a long time. The pub was quiet but not cold as some reviews had mentioned.

    Mist impressed. It was our wedding anniversary lunch with friends and we had a great time . The food was excellent. Good portion size and beautifully cooked. Met with husband’s dietary requirements with no fuss and bother. The service was excellent, friendly and eager to help. We will be back to sample the legendary Sunday lunch!

    Fantastic Sunday dinner. Lovely starters and puddings as well as a really good roast. Loved the bottomless vegetable and gravy offer - although the portions were large enough that we didn't need to take advantage of these. Excellent service - would thoroughly recommend.
