- AAlanChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI’ve been a fan of this place for years and love celebrating special occasions here. The food, service, and overall experience are usually fantastic and a good value. However, after today’s visit, I recommend reconsidering if you plan to dine here with a larger group. We were a party of eight, and the seating was extremely tight—not just at our table but in how closely spaced the tables are from one another. It was uncomfortable having to constantly shift chairs or stand up to let other guests pass. While everything else was top-notch, the cramped seating definitely detracted from the experience. I expected more thoughtfulness in accommodating larger groups for such an upscale restaurant. That said, if you’re dining solo, as a couple, or with a small party, you’ll likely have a fantastic time. I hope Hugo’s reconsiders their seating for larger groups because today could have easily gone from simply a good experience to a truly excellent one.More infoHugo's Frog Bar & Chop House - Des PlainesPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Des Plaines•4.8

The food is great, the service is great, there is no problem parking, we never wait when we get in, although we always make a reservation. Our most recent trip was for Thanksgiving and the meal was excellent. It is a must try restaurant for sure!More infoWildfire - GlenviewPrice: Moderate• American• Glenview•4.8

My friends and I meet up on the day of Thanksgiving for lunch every year and the restaurant we used to go to closed down. We’ve been trying to find a new place and we decided this is the place to go every year now! Loved their Thanksgiving menu and it was delicious!!More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Morton Grove, ILPrice: Moderate• American• Morton Grove•4.6
- CCarynvipChicago / Illinois •81 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoStefani's is my new favorite spot. This was my fourth visit since October 18th. We tried a few new items this time: the tuna crudo is amazing! The friend calamari is so light and fresh....the caper aioli is delicious! All our entrees were fantastic: chicken parmesan, short rib ravioli, ravioli pera (oh my gosh!!!), pasta aragosta, and my favorite: the seared tuna (extra rare is my favorite way). Our desserts were perfect to finish the meal: the cookie skillet was warm and gooey and delicious....the bread pudding was WOW! Mike was our server and there is no one better! We have been lucky enough to have him for each of our four visits. He is so attentive. He offers excellent suggestion when asked! He KNOWS the menu inside and out!More infoStefani PrimePrice: Expensive• Steak• Lincolnwood•4.8
