Best Seafood Restaurants in Brighton

The DTC location is perfect for those who don't care for downtown headache. From the easy parking to a fantastic greeting, Ocean Prime DTC offers an unforgettable experience. We celebrated a birthday with 6pm reservations for 2. They had birthday confetti on the table and we were in a superb booth location. The food, signature drinks and wait staff are top notch. Let's not forget the portions are more than expected.

My wife and I had dinner at Ocean Prime after watching a show downtown. Our reservation was honored promptly and our request for a booth was granted. When making the reservation, we had indicated that we are both gluten free diners - this was confirmed when we were seated and reconfirmed by each member of the wait staff who served us, which we greatly appreciated. We started with the berries and bubbles mocktail, followed by truffle deviled eggs (amazing!) and house salad appetizers. Our main dishes — ribeye with black truffle butter and twin lobster tails with drawn butter — were perfectly cooked and everything you’d expect from an upscale surf and turf dinner. We shared a strawberry shortcake for dessert - as gluten free diners, we didn’t eat the graham cracker crust on the bottom but the cream cheese and strawberry filling was delicious. We appreciated the excellent service from our server Christian - attentive without being intrusive. We were 100% satisfied with both the food and the experience, and look forward to returning to Ocean Prime in the future.

As ALWAYS, Jax knocks it outa the park. We had a great time: oysters and wine at the bar, and a lovely dinner in the dining room. Food was banging! Service was impeccable! The Niman Burger was exceptional! Keep it up and we’ll keep coming back.

I enjoyed my birthday dinner at Jax , as I do every year, and it was as fabulous as always! Sheridan was our server, and she was impeccable with her care. The food ( I had the tuna , hubs had the crab cacio and peppe pasta) was outstanding, amazing wine ( we love the red and seafood pairing section of the wine list) and Jax topped off my evening with a birthday dessert ( i chose an espresso martini). There’s a reason why we go back, over and over again. Jax is simply the best Boulder has to offer!!

Seafood cooked to perfection. I am GF DF and they accommodated my grilled fish and beets accordingly.
