- MMarkVIPLos Angeles •7 reviews5.0Dined todayThe quality of a dining experience starts at the top. Management always gets blamed when things don’t go right, and management should get the kudos when it all goes well. Eddie V’s success in Palm Desert starts at the top. All the pieces fit: it starts with a friendly greeting, a manager that introduces himself, a service staff that exists to insure you’re comfortable with pace and all liquids refilled without asking. But, as good as all the service expectations being met, the excellence of the food is an equal portion of the experience. When all these elements come together: service, food quality, and the creation of a staff to live up to management’s vision, you are presented with the best dining in the entire Coachella Valley. That is Eddie V’s.More infoEddie V's - Palm DesertPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Palm Desert•4.8

From the moment we arrived, the hostess was welcoming, our table for 5 was ready within 5 minutes (with the accommodation I requested), and our server was attentive and personable! Our food was really yummy…it’s been a long time since I’ve been there and everything was delicious. Two thumbs up for the lamb chops and their Local Salad is fantastic! Everyone enjoyed their meal; short rib, salmon, lobster tail, and fettuccini. Honestly, it was all wonderful and they brought out an Ice Cream Wedge for our birthday celebrant. A great evening!!More infoLa Quinta CliffhousePrice: Expensive• American• La Quinta•4.6

Food was great, as always, our server, Marco was the best (second experience with him and he made everything better) and Mitch is a great host. Glad we decided to celebrate Christmas Eve there... - JJoleneSan Diego •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis year is the first time we have been unable to have Christmas Eve at home with our friends. I need to have back surgery and cooking is an extremely difficult chore so my husband suggested we dine out and treat our friends of 30-40 years for a lovely dinner at LG’s. Well when you are going to spend that kind of money for dinner for seven, you want it to be extra special and it truly was. We ordered the Caesar salad and watching the server prepare it was a real treat. I realize that on a busy night like Christmas Eve that the preparation of a Caesar salad at the table is really going the extra mile. We truly appreciated that. We ordered several steaks and some Sea Bass and everyone raved about how perfectly cooked the steaks were and my sister and I had the Sea Bass. It was cooked to perfection. And what can you say about the side dishes. They are always exceptionally delicious. LG’s is one of our most favorite restaurants in the desert and it was a wonderful choice for Christmas Eve. Our waiter said he had been there for 10 years and you could certainly tell how well trained he was. He kept the drinks flowing and we waited on nothing. About 4 years ago we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary there in that lovely room downstairs with around 40 guests and again the food and service were exceptional. Thank you for making our Christmas Eve so special this year. There are hundreds of other restaurants here in the desert we could have chosen to show our friends how extra special they are to us but the choice of LG’s was the perfect choice. Thank you for contributing to a very Merry Christmas for all of us.More infoLG's Prime Steakhouse - La QuintaPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• La Quinta•4.7
