- JJohnVIPLos Angeles •152 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI dreaded going out on Christmas Day. The restaurant was very crowded and noisy. One screaming baby--why do people bring kids to good restaurants? The server Chasen was absolutely great. He was on top of everything and extremely nice and pleasant. The oysters were excellent, fresh and full, served well with sauce and lemon. The caesar salad was very good. The double thick pork chop with a chutney and a butter sauce was excellent. I did not eat the dessert, but it looked good, some sort of cherry thing with ice cream and whipped cream. We had a very nice table in a corner with windows. It was a bit away from the crowded center. It was a perfect experience for any time, but especially for Christmas Day. Dining at 4:00 was a good idea, but it was very full when we got there and showed no signs of letting up. Thank you to Chasen and Gabriel, his busser, for making our experience so good.More infoMastro's Ocean Club - MalibuPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Malibu•4.7

The charred octopus was also deliciously exceptional. 5-stars for the experienceMore infoBaltairePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Brentwood•4.7

The scallops were incredible and the drinks were excellent. A new Christmas Eve tradition has begun!More infoWater Grill - Santa MonicaPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Santa Monica•4.6

- RRobinLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI was invited to a soft opening. My friend was unable to make it so I went alone for lunch. I was greeted warmly and seated inside as it was too cold on the patio. Robby was my server and he was fantastic from the start. I started with the ceviche appetizer, the fish was cod., large delicious pieces. A big portion wi/ tortilla chips along the plate. They are made in house. Crunchy and perfect. I order grilled Kanpachi with chimmchuri. It really was a pesto. The fish was cooked perfectly and again, a large portion. I had the sesame green beans and elote corn off cob. I had a blood orange lemonade, very refreshing. I chose to paste on dessert. They packed up my leftovers in compostable packaging. This is a big deal to me. Many of the staff came over and asked how I was enjoying my meal. I am a long time local and this new restaurant is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I will be back. I wish them much success.More infoPacific Catch- Santa MonicaPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Santa Monica•4.9
