We honeymooned at station square 40 years ago and have returned on several occasions. The Grand Concourse has never disappointed. Tonight for our anniversary I enjoyed the duck and my wife had the scallops both were delicious and wonderfully presented. Started and ended the meal with a pearfect martini which was also delicious. The ambience of the restaurant was very modern Amid the high skyscrapers of Pittsburgh.  we enjoyed watching the Steelers game while we had a nice glass of wine waiting for our meal.  Our waitress is very kind and punctual and did a lot to help my daughter register for the restaurant club.  The mocha affogato chocolate liqueur was excellent. And our desserts were the best we’ve had at any restaurant. We plan to go back soon and try their steak dinners. I highly recommend that you all go and try this restaurant. We started with the Crab Cakes, which were cooked perfectly with lots of crab meat and a delicious corn salad and spicy aioli. Then we moved on to delicious French Onion Soup and King Crab Corn Bisque. Both soups were fresh and wonderfully seasoned. Our entrees were the Bison Filet and the Medaliins of Filet. The bison was cooked just as we wanted it, and the sauces on the medallions were delightful. We ended the meal with a huge piece of delicious carrot cake. It was so rich and luscious that we even had to take some home. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a special dinner with exceptional food and service. Just inside the city which was easy to get to - had valet for $12 which was a bonus to not have to worry about parking. The building itself is spectacular housing several high end restaurants. Eddie V's had non crowding tables and booths, live entertainment, the service was exemplary and the food even more enticing. Everything came out timely, cooked to perfection and warm. They even accommodated the gluten free portion of party by immediately handing them a special menu without having to ask and serving veggies and dip when the gluten rich bread was being served to others. I only deleted one star from the ambience because the restaurant itself did not have any kind of a view of the water but then again we were looking for a great meal and this restaurant did not disappoint. The Norwegian Halibut was amazing! The evening was extremely special celebrating our dad’s birthday. It was sweet and memorable to have two daddy daughter dates as well. Molly also was so sweet!
