Best Seafood Restaurants in Venice

We had a wonderful dinner tonight. The food was delicious and our server Brittney was fantastic. She's very friendly and stopped at our table often to see if we needed anything.

We were three couples and we all agreed that this is one of the best restaurants in Sarasota. We had an excellent dining experience in every aspect. The service was attentive and our waitress was personable. The menu is varied and everything was properly prepared and served in generous portions and delicious. We tried the Shrimp Stack, Coconut Shrimp, Spinach Dip, Spinach Salad Bar, Bouillabaisse, Black Cod, Sea Bass, Stuffed Shrimp, Key Lime Pie, Mud Pie, and several different coffees. It was a leisurely dining experience in a comfortable setting. We highly recommend it and will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Dinner was delicious. Of course it never disappoints! The restaurant was full, but noise level was moderate due to the three different levels. Our waiter was David one of the bar tenders. Very helpful, considerate and cheerful! Would love to request him again. Will be going back for sure

Our party of four had an unbelievable experience. The Server, Adam Pratt, was outstanding. He was extremely passionate about his job and provided insight into all Menu items. His interactions were impeccable, providing superior service while also being very interactive and professional. The food was outstanding. Lobster Bisque - Easily the best my Wife and I have ever had. Its creaminess and flavor were beyond reproach. Nigiri (Salmon Belly), Ahi Tuna, and Crab Cocktail - All phenomenal. The crab was super succulent. Wagyu Filet, Wagyu Manhattan, 8oz Filet - These were all "melt" in your mouth and cooked to perfection. The scallop entree was also very good. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The risotto was very good, and the presentation was outstanding. Truffl;e Mac & Cheese was some of the best I have ever tasted. The asparagus is easily the Most Tender asparagus I have ever eaten. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. We finished with the 10-layer Carrot Cake - This was wonderful and the Pineapple sauce was an unbelievable compliment to the moistness of the cake. The cream cheese icing which usually overdoes the cake was the perfect compliment. Our only complaint was the Carrot Cake only had 9 layers. We showed Adam and had some lighthearted fun with it at the table. Thank you Oceans Prime Sarasota for such a memorable and delightful dining experience.

Great choice for large party of 8 with kids. Broad choices in local seafood. Hog Fish is hard to find. Had very good Stone Crab. Also has a fresh seafood market for take out.
