- LLeslieVIPPhoenix / Arizona •14 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWonderful location over looking the ocean. Fish tacos were amazing. Barbecued chicken salad was a hit as well. Had a table by the glass wall looking out over the bay. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive Definitely will come back.More infoDuke's La JollaPrice: Moderate• Hawaiian Regional• La Jolla•4.6
- DDr. ClaudineVIPOrange County •18 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur experience was one of a kind. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive without being over excessive— great balance. Everyone was helpful and kind. I wish I can give more than five stars. Being disabled, I was advised of the best routes to avoid steps but not “supervised” as disabled people sometimes are. Terrific evening all around.More infoThe Marine RoomPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• La Jolla•4.7
- CChristianChicago / Illinois •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe best dining experience of our lives. My wife and I are quite the foodies. We were celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary and when booking the reservation I noted it. Upon arriving we were greeted with the wait staff wishing us a happy anniversary and having rose petals spread across our table. We started the evening with a half dozen or assorted oysters, BY FAR THE. BEST WE HAVE EVER EATEN. Literally melted in our mouths. Continued our evening with the crab cake which was also booming with flavor and extremely creamy. We both ordered the 10oz filet & 7oz lobster tail for our entrees. The filet was incredible and once again the lobster tail was BY FAR the best of our lives. Never had lobster just fall apart as soon as you bite into it. We shared the truffle Mac and cheese and wow, just incredible. We were given a small portion of their famous bananas foster and butter pecan ice cream on the house, once again the textures and flavors were just incredible. Finished our evening with a couple espresso martinis that were just right. Already planning our next visit and can’t thank Eddie V’s enough!More infoEddie V's - La JollaPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• La Jolla•4.9
- LLeeVIPSan Diego •134 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024Christmas Eve Dinner at Red O - A Memorable Experience from ambiance to dessert and everything in between. This Christmas Eve, my family and I broke from tradition and chose to dine at Red O instead of our usual steakhouse or seafood spot. It turned out to be a fantastic decision, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. Our meals were nothing short of exceptional. The Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful, while the Chicken Enchiladas were a savory blend of spices and comfort. The Rack of Lamb was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning, and the Surf & Turf offered a delightful combination of succulent grilled lobster and a juicy steak. Every dish exceeded our expectations. The service was also outstanding. Both the management and the staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring that every need was met with warmth and professionalism. It was clear that they were dedicated to making our holiday meal special, setting the tone for a wonderful evening. And of course, save room for dessert. The Tres Leches Cake was an absolute standout—a light, decadent treat that’s a must-try. If you’re a fan of butter cake, the version here is an indulgence you won’t want to miss. Overall, Red O provided the perfect setting and exceptional dining experience for our Christmas Eve celebration. - NNoraSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024Our server today was kinda off push and rush us to order. I didn’t know because it was Christmas Eve and people were waiting for a table or just she wanted to get the job done . The margarita I ordered today was not much alcohol in it, even I ordered a second one with double shot, still pretty light. Other than that, the food was good like always.
