Best Seafood Restaurants in Woodside

I celebrated my birthday at Ocean Prime recently and this restaurant did not disappoint. I was accommodated to a private dinning room which was stunning and intimate perfect for a night out. The staff were very welcoming, attentive, and the waitress Bridgette was amazing at giving recommendations. I’d like to say these are some must the Ahi Tuna Tartare, the blackened snapper, and the sea scallops. For dessert the butter cake is a must, it’s so rich and moist and pairs well with the ice cream and berries. Overall it was a birthday dinner well spent.

Oceana is one of those places that consistently delivers an outstanding dining experience. My family went for an after Broadway dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambiance and noise level that allowed easy conversation. This is why we go back often and are never disappointed.

We recently dined at Milos on 55th Street, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The food was incredibly well-prepared and absolutely delicious. We began with the Greek salad and perfectly grilled octopus as appetizers—both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For the main course, we ordered four plates of sashimi, each piece a testament to the restaurant’s dedication to quality and taste. What truly set this dining experience apart, however, was the impeccable service. The gentleman managing our section—who we believe may be Greek—was exceptionally attentive, professional, and warm. His attention to detail, along with the efforts of his assistant and another staff member, ensured we felt cared for throughout the evening. We ended our meal with aromatic coffee and a rich, creamy cheesecake, the perfect conclusion to a wonderful dinner. We highly recommend Milos for its outstanding food, exceptional service, and welcoming atmosphere. That said, it is on the pricier side, but if you can afford it, the experience is absolutely worth every penny. Thank you, Milos, for an unforgettable evening!

Food was impeccable. Busy obviously because it was Christmas Day, however it felt like the wait staff were rushing around and that rubbed off on us. Took my bread plate away before I had even finished with it (along with my starter player whilst my wife was still eating!). Price was very reasonable especially for Christmas Day, however the servers need to slow down. Several of our requests were forgotten several times and it was hard to catch the eye of the wait staff to chase them up as they were so focussed on (literally) running around. In a nutshell, the food could not be faulted. The wait staff need to relax a little more and the experience could be so much better.

Great time for our group - everyone really enjoyed the experience overall. Service was a little hit and miss as far as attentiveness, but it was a packed house so understandable.
