Best Southern American Restaurants in La Vergne

An atmospheric restaurant with superb cocktail bar and a selection of skillfully prepared well match ingredients. All served by a young but obviously well trained staff. Flavours and pairings we're off the scale. Short Rib of Buffalo was truly amazing. Thank you to all of the team for giving us top service. A memory we will carry back with us to Scotland. Hoping to return.

Small, intimate restaurant with excellent service and an outstanding menu. It had been years since I frequented Midtown Cafe as a lunch customer while working in downtown Nashville. The evening meal is on a whole different level. We’ll be back!

Our server, Paulina, was really wonderful. Helped us navigate the menu which opened the door for us to try some things we might have not tried on our own. Exampe: the beet sorbet. It was delish! Also, she was an amazing pro with our special needs son and make sure he was having a great time. Great food, great spot, great people.

We hosted a Holiday party at Brugada for a group of 18 and it was simply fabulous! From the champagne towers, to the shrimp cocktail, shiitake dumplings, brisket tacos, and amazing pizza, it was a truly magical night. The holiday cocktails were awesome to start the evening, and the desserts were so good to end the night. Darian was just awesome taking care of the entire group, as well as all the staff at Brugada. Thank you so much for a wonderful celebration dinner! 

First I must say, it’s Christmas time so the expectations are a little lower due to the high volume of people. The restaurant was packed full and definitely bustling. Despite these conditions I must say Urban Grub was flawless. The manager checked in with us shortly after we were seated. Nice personal touch. Next our waiter named Daryl and his assistant greeted our table and immediately started tending to us…. Water poured, drink orders next and sent to the bar, then compete explanations of the menu…. With promises we WILL love our experience!!!! Daryl did not disappoint!!! He was definitely right. From the moment the fresh biscuits and popovers were delivered to the last dish being carried away, our experience was flawless and delicious. Did I mention we were a part of eight? Yes. A full restaurant and a completely satisfied party of eight. Need I say more? The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. Definitely different from the cookie cutter steak and seafood places. I highly recommend it!!!!
