Best Southern American Restaurants in Maryvale

Being vegetarian and with a group, we ordered all sides and starters and everything was so good. We did the shishito which had a little kick. Make sure to the squeeze the lemon as the acid makes if soooo good. Grits and Mac and cheese were very rich and delicious. The asparagus with the sauce in the side was nice as it provided a lightness.

Great find in Scottsdale! During an overnight stay in Scottsdale my wife and I were attempting to find seating for dinner on Christmas Eve. We originally booked another restaurant then made the call to switch to Grassroots even though the only seating available was on the patio. We were not disappointed. The Noble bread service was a great start and the soup of the day, a chicken broth type soup with poblano, jalapeño and other seasonings, was exceptional! My spouse had the Waldorf chicken salad, also very good, and the shrimp and grits, an unusual choice for me, was quite delicious. We ended our meal with their key lime pie, and I would highly recommend it. All in all, Grassroots was an outstanding experience - great service, great food and nice atmosphere.

Exceptional food, incredible setting and impecable service

So so fun. Great service. Chicken tenders and fries are delicious. Strong drinks. We had an absolute blast. Band was great. Dj was so fun 🤩. Definitely our favorite spot.
