- RReginaldVIPHouston •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI took my girlfriend here for her birthday and was recommended this restaurant. First, I will start out with the drinks. I ordered a Moscow Mule and my gf ordered the eggnog martini and followed up with an expresso martini. The Moscow mule was ehh and my gf didn’t enjoy her eggnog martini (I liked it lol). The expresso martini was a step up from the eggnog martini for her, but where the drinks left a void, the food easily filled it. For appetizers, she ordered the deviled eggs and I order the smoked salmon. Both of the starters were so good. I really could have just ordered the salmon and been happy lol. For entrees, I ordered the YB Nashville Hot Chicken with Brussels at the side and she ordered the fresh catch of the day, which were crab cakes, with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. She absolutely loved the crab cakes and the mashed potatoes. The Mac and cheese, she wasn’t the biggest fan of. Overall, I would say the food was amazing. The design of the restaurant is easily one of our favorites to ever dine in. The interior design is so beautiful and enhances the dining experience. Oh!! And the birthday dessert was amazing! It was a cookies & cream ice cream scoop with three fried Oreos. It made me feel as if I was back home in Alabama for a second lol. We will definitely be back to dine again in the near future. Thank you Yardbird for helping make my girlfriend’s birthday one to remember!More infoYardbird Table & Bar - DallasPrice: Expensive• Regional American (Contemporary Southern)• Dallas-Ft. Creative takes on Southern classics are served with flair and artistry. The restaurant decor is simple and understated and the service is enthusiastic and personal. If only Dallas had more of these smaller and unique places! Diners seem to want multimillion dollar glamor and opulent surroundings in order to enjoy their meal and gems like Roots sometimes are not fully appreciated.More infoRoots Southern TablePrice: Very Expensive• Regional American (Southern)• North Dallas / Addison•4.8

- EEricDallas - Fort Worth •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe Ranch at Las Colinas is my favorite restaurant. My go-to meal is the Chipotle Meatloaf with a double portion of whipped potatoes. It checks all the boxes for me. That smoked tomato poblano salsa is fantastic! The waitstaff is always knowledgeable about the menu and great at making recommendations when I can't figure out what I want. The drinks are perfectly crafted according to the menu, and they are always good pours. I always go on my birthday and a few times a year for special occasions.More infoThe Ranch at Las ColinasPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Las Colinas / Irving•4.8

Some of the best french toast I've ever had. Unfortunately the bacon was overcooked. Delicious lemon poppyseed muffin and they were able to get a chai tea latte from the starbucks next to it.More infoJellico’sPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Southlake•4.3
