- TTerrySan Francisco Bay Area •15 reviews5.0Dined todayWe had a wonderful dinner, and a wonderful time at Bar Chelou! The food was a constant flow of unusual, delicious flavors and textures. The service was perfect, from being greeted at the door to table service. Our services paced delivery of the small plates so we could really enjoy them. No rushed feeling here. And our servers recommendations were spot on. Finally, the food was reasonably priced, so we feel we can return again and again.More infoBar ChelouPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Pasadena•4.8
- CCherylLos Angeles •7 reviews5.0Dined todayEntire meal was exquisite! We started with the Artichokes and Pork Belly appetizers, then as main courses: Paella, short rib with Moroccan spiced lentils and the Ribeye with whipped potatoes. We shared everything and in our group the best dish vote went to the Ribeye (probably due to the gorgeous chimichurri and quality of the beef), but truly, everything was superb! (NOTE: Save room for the flan!!)More infoCasa Cordoba - MontrosePrice: Moderate• Spanish• Montrose•4.7
- LLisaLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe enjoy going to the theater and are always looking for a good place to get a meal before or after. We tried San Laurel for the first time and were delighted. The service (thank you, Johnnie) couldn’t have been better. He asked before we ordered and what time the show was so he could be mindful of the timing of the courses. My husband and I aren’t meat eaters so we kept to the appetizer section and ordered several of the vegetarian options to share. The olive oil cracker with membrillo and cheese was heavenly, the eggplant, and wild mushrooms both had sauces that made us want to lick the bowls clean. The only downside was the restaurant seemed a bit noisy due to all the hard surfaces with nothing to help absorb sound. We ate relatively early and the dining room was half empty so I wonder how loud it would be at full capacity. I’m looking forward to going back again and hopefully for a matinee show so we can try brunch.More infoSan LaurelPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Downtown•4.8

- SScottVIPLos Angeles •279 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoStill a classic, and the table had a wide range of dishes from OG 1923 items to Chicken Mole Enchiladas, something added very recently. Margaritas are still great, and the vibe of the place maintains the same feel you get at the first location on Western, even here in a mall in Pasadena. Tableside guacamole is a must, and their tamales are among the best anywhere.More infoEl Cholo CafePrice: Moderate• Mexican• Pasadena•3.8
