Best Steak Restaurants in Charlottesville

Exceptional. Elevated to the best of steakhouses in Charlottesville. It can be a little loud, but the hotel is gorgeous.

The food was amazing! The steak was literally, like butter. The caesar salad was delicious, dressing had just the right amount of tang. We had the lobster Mac n cheese, smashed red potatoes and brussel sprouts. Would repeat every one of these dishes! The cherry crème brûlée was unique but not outlandish! Loved the luxardo cherries on top! Our waitress was lovely, made great recommendations and checked on us often. Will definitely be back.

The service at Ralph's house was top notch! The host, and waiter were incredible personable and went out of their way to ensure that my parents and my wife enjoyed their dining experience. The manager also introduced himself and went out of his way to ensure that we had a great time! You should check out Ralph's ATR!

As always, excellent food, ambience, and service! My go to for a great steak, quiet atmosphere, and all around comfort!

Overall, five star. Nitpicks: we both had surf and turf. Wife’s steak was overcooked, more than requested medium rare. They offered to replace it but that would be wasteful. Accompanying shrimp were peel and eat which was unexpected. Otherwise, no complaints. We would go again if in the area. The inn was a great place to stay.
