The restaurant was so beautiful, with its stone walls and beautiful artwork. We were greeted at the front door by staff who quickly helped us remove our coats, which is rare in Montreal. Our waiter was superb...just the right amount of attention. The food was extraordinary! From the Foie Gras pate and Bison tartar appetizers, to the Beef Cheeks and Filet Mignon, you can't go wrong. Attentive, friendly and gave great advice on the menu and drink selection . The cod was perfectly done, very tasty. The bavette and fries also tasted amazing. The salad with green apple and cheese had a great taste, we want the recipe!! The dessert with a cheesecake topping and squash was perfect. We learned of Joe Beef from an Anthony Bourdain special last year, and in March of this year we learned we were going to move here. We’ve been planning to go here since we arrived in August, and were finally able to make it. It was everything we hoped it would be, and we were able to try some amazing dishes.
