Best Steak Restaurants in La Quinta

Expected Valentine’s Day weekend to be very busy and hectic, we had a 6pm reservation and arrived on time. We only had to wait about 5 minutes before being taken to our table. Service was superb and did not feel rushed to finish our meals. Food was delicious. We ordered steak, shrimp, calamari, salad, mashed potatoes, and my favorite was the sweet potato casserole. We ordered a total of four drinks which were all 10/10. We took our desserts home and the cream brûlée hit just right later that night. Heard a couple entitled people complaining, they should have just stayed home. Our server and management checked on us several times and made sure we had the best experience.

The food was delicious and the service excellent. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

We had an early dinner at Jackslope Ranch. The food and service were both excellent. Draft Modello beer was cold and frosty. Nice! The waiter let us leisurely visit and enjoy the brew. No rushing us to order. The food was delicious. One person had a rack of baby back ribs. The meal was s huge serving with delicious ranch beans, coleslaw, and more delicious juicy ribs than he could eat. Another had ribs and brisket. Both juicy and delicious. Other BBQ places serve ribs that are dried out and tough. Not these! Both were tender, juicy and with just the right amount of BBQ sauce. I had the Rodeo Burger. Huge! Couldn’t begin to eat it all. Served topped with bacon, Ortega chili, and crispy fried mini onion rings. Along with sweet potato fries. All the food was delicious! We had a leisurely two hour plus dinner and a lovely evening visiting with friends. The noise level was very low which I particularly enjoyed! Jackalope Ranch is back with all the good things the previous owners had plus new additions. It was too cold to sit outside but I know what gorgeous grounds they have and can hardly wait to have dinner in their huge backyard when it warms up a little. It is the ranch/western Gem of Coachella Valley. You must try it!

Loved the new expanded dining area on a clear evening. Noise level was high in the space and might be addressed with some sound dammpening tiles. All was great on the food side, like always

Lovely place with a great staff and a wonderful menu with great food. The water fall is a bit loud and splashy, but no big deal. I had the Dungeness crab pasta rich and spicy, delicious. My wife had the scallops and she loved them. Our dinner guest had the short ribs and his wife had the wedge salad all delicious. There wine by the glass a good choices. Overall a great and lovely place.
