- UUjefLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined todayCleanliness, quick and excellent service, food is amazing, worth with price, weekend busy, no table without booking, could have been better with more sitting arrangements. Overall nice experience and recommend for steaks only.More infoKarv RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Hackney•4.3
- JJimLondon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoHad the All in (like I do every time). The chops were succulent and cooked to perfection. The bread at the bottom was, as always, freaking delicious! Sides of Kale and Parmesan (with enough parmesan to negate the health proprieties of the kale), Winter slaw (lovely acidity to cut through the richness of the meat) and coal roasted beets (great combination of smoky beets, smooth goats curd and strong grated horseradish). All of them compliment the meat. What did steal the show for me however, and hear me out, was the barbecue cauliflower chop. All garlicky and charred and delicious. Service was impeccable. The right amount of attentiveness. Banter was good. Overall, a charming lunch in a bloody good restaurant.More infoBlacklock ShoreditchPrice: Moderate• Steak• Shoreditch•4.8
- JJohn MichaelLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy wife and I were visiting London from Manila, and our friend from Singapore - an ex-Londoner - highly recommended we set aside time to try out the best steak at either a Hawksmoor or a competitor chop house. I'm glad we went for the former as we had a stellar lunch experience on our last day before flying out. The menus were an experience unto their own, which my wife and I enjoyed going through. The Sour Cherry Negroni was a good start to our dining experience. Roasted Scallops: fresh, tasty, and arguably the biggest scallops we've had. Rib-eye (350g): an excellent cut, and the only thing we regret was not getting the 450g option. We had this with Mash & Gravy and Creamed Spinach which were excellent too. (Don't forget to ask the waitstaff for wine pairings.) We'll definitely visit a Hawskmoor again the next time we're in London.More infoHawksmoor GuildhallPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Bank•4.6
- PPia and BarryvipLondon •15 reviews5.0Dined on 8 Nov 2024Great dinner as always. Service was a little slower than normal but didn't matter for our dinner. Everything seems super expensive now so starting to question the value, but the quality is excellent with some really interesting choices of mega-meats. Still my go-to place for proper steak.More infoBricco e BaccoPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Fitzrovia•4.7
