Best Steak Restaurants in Kew Gardens Hills

One of our favorite restaurants in NY. From the friendly greeting when we arrived to the exceptional service and meal, just what we needed! The caesar salad was fresh and delicious as well as baked clams . Our entrees also good. Have to save room for the cannoli for dessert! Can’t wait to return!

This is one of my go to spots. The food, drinks, and service is always on point. The dining room is much quieter than the bar area. Parking can be a pain but it’s a great place to eat.

Lovely old fashioned fine woods dining room in residential Astoria. Greeted warmly when entering , shown to our table ensuring we were seated comfortably, and promptly being attended by a charming young waitress. She brought a paper menu to make our choices easier for us than using the iPad menu. She explained our choices and expedited our water and cocktails and wonderful warm bread with delicious , smooth fragrant olive spread. The shrimp Cocktail had large succulent and slightly sweet crisp shrimp. The porterhouse steak was cooked perfectly and did not need a knife it was so tender and juicy. The creamed spinach was superlative - fresh chiffonade spinach perfectly dressed in a heavenly light cream and dressed with crisp onions. The mashed potatoes were unblemished off white , creamy and light and whipped smooth. The grilled asparagus seemed picked from Eden and lightly charred to crisp tender. The meal was capped off by a perfect creme brûlée and smooth velvety coffee. I can’t wait to go back. All the while our waitress ensured staff discreetly cleaned off table and switched our plates and utensils and refilled water. Thank you for a perfect evening as we celebrated a special friend’s birthday.

Birthday night, midweek, 7:00 pm. Not too crowded, service excellent, food excellent. Dined on ravioli stuffed with braised beef & cheese w/chunky tomato sauce, also chicken parmesan. Our salads were amazing. I had green market salad perfectly dressed & partner had arugula salad, perfectly dressed. I wanted a specially made drink & they followed my instructions. Delicious! Our new fine dining place. Only issue, wish the parking situation was more convenient.
