Best Steak Restaurants in Redlands

1st time at this Costa Mesa location, my family and I were blown away by outstanding, attentive service. Our waitress was great and very helpful selecting dishes. She acknowledged that it was my son in town home from college. The Food was amazing. And even other servers were helpful and welcoming. I love mastros. Would def. Recommend coming here. Again and again. Thank you.

We had our Thanksgiving steak here today! What an amazing experience. This isn’t our first time to Ruth’s Chris, and again, they have surpassed service expectations. It was a busy day at the restaurant, but nothing slipped by our wait staff. Our server Bao was amazing, he recommended items, checked on us just the right amount and made sure that all of our needs were met! His assistant Izzy, never let our water or bread go low, and took great care of us from the beginning. Izzy made sure Bread and water was on the table in no time flat…..ooohhh that warm bread is so good! We ordered cocktails, hubby got an Old Fashioned and I ordered the seasonal Pomegranate Martini. Both were great. Truth be told, mine was so good, I ordered a second with dinner! We started with appetizers (crab stuffed mushrooms -divine!) and soup for him, chopped salad for me. For the main course, Hubby had the Cowboy medium rare and said it was perfection, I had the filet medium with the blue cheese crust…heaven. On the side we ordered the au Gratin potatoes (Bao’s recommendation) and the Roasted Brussels everything was so good! The potatoes are heavenly and a nice change from the lobster Mac we normally have. We finished the night off sharing a crème brûlée with a cup of coffee for me and tea for him. Taking our “doggie bag” home to enjoy leftovers tomorrow. No way could we eat all that food in one sitting!

The Thanksgiving lunch experience was outstanding, marked by excellent food and service. Despite a minor issue with our table, Jasmine and Scott promptly resolved it with professionalism and positivity. Scott, the new manager of this location, stopped by our table to check in, and his gracious demeanor made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Our server, Arthur, was attentive, courteous, and personable, providing excellent menu recommendations. He was particularly considerate of my daughter's nut allergies, ensuring her meal was prepared safely while showing kindness to both of us. Despite living in Irvine, we typically dine at Mastro's in Beverly Hills as the steakhouse has superior service. However, today’s experience has changed our perspective—especially if we can have Arthur as our waiter. The combination of impeccable food and exceptional service has made this location a standout choice.

I have been to this steakhouse numerous times and it has never been a disappointment. The service is always top-notch. The manager always stops by the table and the food is always impeccably prepared. it’s consistent and delicious.

Great experience and great service. Still a bit pricey.
