Best Steak Restaurants in University City/Golden Triangle

We loved the food! It was exquisite! Staff were exceedingly friendly and attentive. View of La Jolla was spectacular!! 🩵🩵🩵

Service was terrible. Ruined my Christmas Eve. I wanted to treat my family to a nice lunch. We arrived on tome for our reservation and had to wait for everything. We weren't seated for almost 40 minutes and had to wait to be acknowledged even though the restaurant appeared empty. Water took 15 min Drinks 20 min Food arrived cold. Oysters were very expensive at 45 per half dozen and were milky. We complained to the very disinterested manager who wanted us to suggest a way to solve our own problem This place is stunningly beautiful but they should be ashamed of themselves. My husband and I both worked in the restaurant business earlier in our lives so any effort to improve or make things right would have resulted in a much better review. They clearly didn't value us as customers even though we spent about $100 per person. We would have spent more but were too disgusted with our treatment to stay for dessert.

A delightful dining experience with exceptional service. Greg ensured our evening was nothing short of perfect. The steak was impeccably cooked, and the sides, like the flavorful Brussel sprouts, were a delectable accompaniment. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable meal!

Manager Lisa was the best, most service-oriented manager I have ever seen. She kicked in when service was a bit slow, checked in on us every so often, comped us a drink when we waited a bit too long for our order, and just made a slow evening into a spectacular one. A great manager. Well done Lisa!
