Best Steak Restaurants in Uptown

Great Food and Great Experience. Loved the steak and the mashed potatoes!

We had the best experience tonight. We used to go to the old location frequently and they really crushed their new location. Our server was amazing tonight and did a great job with our two young boys. I wish I knew her name as I would have told her manager about her - if we only had servers like her at other Chicago restaurants. We will be telling our friends and will definitely be back soon!

I was on a first date and let the maître de know upon my arrival. My date was waiting at the bar and the maître de knew that and walked me toward him which was very sweet as I was nervous. They gave a choice of tables so we picked a quiet out of the way option so we could talk. We were not rushed to order which was great. We enjoyed a leisurely evening getting to know each other while ordering small burger sliders, truffle tater tots, red wine, beet salad and meatballs. The food was excellent. The service was top notch. This restaurant is right in my neighborhood so it will likely be my new "go-to". I highly recommend!! If I could give them six stars I would. : ) Thank you, Rosebud.

It’s crazy to think there are only three of these restaurants left in the world. We used to go to the Oak Brook location but now we finally got to visit the one in Chicago. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this was the original one. It’s a classic French bistro fare with amazing servers and food. I highly recommend the steak and frites!  make sure to get your reservation early because we had to dine at 4:45 PM due to later dinner times not being available

Wanted a cozy, chill place to visit with dear friend. Brass Tack was the ticket. Drinks, food and service were ideal. Will go back again and again
