Best Steakhouses in East Nashville

We had an amazing valentines dinner! We opted not to do the VDay special bc my husband has shellfish allergies.. but everything we did choose was AMAZING! We started with the Bacon Steak… which I’ll admit I was skeptical, since I like thin crispy bacon.. but it was sooo good! We each had a salad l.. Cesar & house. I had the filet, cooked medium & Lobster tail.. hubs had the Aged Ribeye medium rare, and then we shared the generous portion of sour cream mashed potatoes. All were perfectly cooked! We finished off the evening with the special chocolate cake to go.. and ate it cuddled up on the couch at home.. was so moist and just the right amount of sweet!

This was our best dining experience was have reserved! Everything brought to the table was made to perfection from the maple bacon appetizer, salads, steak, sides, wine, and desserts. Shaun was an amazing server and provided the best recommendations to fit our wants and needs through the night. The atmosphere was perfect for a group dinner or romantic night out. We will be returning the next chance we get!

My husband and I have been dining at Jimmy Kelly’s for nearly 5 years. Over that time, the restaurant has undergone many changes, both to the building itself and to the dining options. While we were skeptical at first, citing the affordability and familiarity of the old menu, the quality of the food, addition of new options, and (as always) the top-notch service have won us over.

Bob's Steak House is hands down one of the best steakhouses I've ever been to! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with top-notch service that made us feel right at home. The steak? Absolutely phenomenal—cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with flavor. You can tell they use only the highest quality cuts. The sides were just as impressive, especially the [insert favorite side dish], which was the perfect complement to the meal. To top it off, the dessert and drinks were outstanding, making the entire experience flawless from start to finish. If you're looking for a place that delivers excellence in both food and service, Bob's Steak House is it. Highly recommend!

We were greeted by a cheerful and courteous host team that quickly escorted us to our table. The table was amazing a semi-circle booth facing the bar. I highly recommend this table if you are an appreciator of great piano bar music. Our waiter was amazing and connected with all of the guests at our table quickly. He explained all the specials a little history about some of the drinks on the menu, including the famous Brittney drink, and then proceeded to make some of his personal recommendations. I highly recommend any of the seafood or sushi selections as they have been the best we have found in town. The manager came by several times to check on us and ask if we needed anything else. Overall, the experience was excellent and we always highly recommend this restaurant on our travels through Nashville. I would recommend making reservations well in advance and if you like, live music, make sure to request an area by the bar.
