Best Steakhouses in Mount Rainier

Food was excellent, as was the service. Was little concerned about dress code requirement given the distance traveled without formal wear but allowed us to enter and enjoy a very nice experience. The steaks and fish were cooked as requested and all had an awesome crisp exterior. Salad, sides and butter cake were very good.

We were fortunate enough to have the legendary Wayne Anderson as our server last evening. While the experience and meal itself spoke for itself and the Capital Grille brand, Wayne was a perfect host and is a true master of his craft. Thank you, Wayne, for making our evening that much more special.

The best steak I’ve had in the DC area. The ribeye was incredible. Whipped potatoes were amazing as well.

Their Negroni is nothing short of perfection—expertly balanced, showcasing the classic cocktail’s rich and sophisticated character. It’s the ideal pairing for any dish on the menu. The tuna steak was absolutely outstanding. Perfectly seared and paired with a ginger ponzu sauce, it delivered a harmonious balance of flavors and textures that left a lasting impression. The lobster claws were another highlight—simply spectacular. The freshness and quality of the seafood, paired with flawless preparation, made them an absolute treat. Finally, the Key Lemon Pie was the perfect way to end the meal. Creamy, with just the right balance of sweetness and tartness, and a perfectly crisp crust, it was an unforgettable dessert. We were fortunate to be served by Megan, who was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even more delightful. Her professionalism and warm demeanor truly elevated our visit. In summary, Joe’s Seafood is not just about excellent food—it’s about a complete dining experience, elevated by impeccable service and a refined atmosphere. A must-visit in Washington, D.C.! It was a great experience. The only small thing. We were seated in the back originally. I mentioned we were celebrating something. Back in the day there was a card on table. None this year. There was a lamp on the table but it was off. It was dark and quiet. I asked to be reseated where the live music was playing near the bar. It was my friend first time and she said EVERYTHING was flavorful. The one bartender male I think bald head service was good. The lady short care simply did the job. Thanks again.
