    I Love Rothmann’s. I am visiting from Northern CA. We had a wonderful dinner tonight honoring my beloved father. We had the porter house and filet mignon. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. Excellent service. The staff is warm, friendly, and professional. Such a lovely ambience for dining! My only lament is that there is no Rothmann’s in Northern CA.

    If you want a great meal with friends, a place to go on date night, private party or just a quick drink - go to Blacksones in Norwalk. Parking is easy and you have the option of sitting in the dining room or bar (it could get a little loud in the bar) - either way, the experience will be a good one. The team is attentive, like you rarely, if ever have to look for someone to refill a drink and it has an old school Chicago steak house vibe that is sort of moody but relaxed.

    We went for the $69 weekly Dinner Special. We love Insignia, service and food. The only complaint I had was I ordered the 12oz NY Strip Steak and the waiter asked if I wanted it on the bone and I what is the difference, he says flavor, so of course I said sure. When the bill came that upped the $69 too $84 (That is the KC strip steak) without explaining it to be. The steak was fantastic but that should be explained up front so a customer can decide if the wanted to pay $15 more.
