Best Sushi Restaurants in Hawaii Kai

Spur of the moment reservation, online at 6pm and got 7:45 reservation. We went for pupu and drinks. The Roy’s Old fashioned is pretty good. We ordered the canoe for two, which was great. The order of Ahi sashimi was kinda small but ono. Also ordered the Ahi 20 sushi, and that was ono too. Finished with the Sweet bread pudding, perfect. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures. We had a really nice time and good food for great date night.

We’ve been traveling to Honolulu for many years and have dined at many of the restaurants in Waikiki, without question Sansei is our favorite. Great ambiance, outstanding service (Beigh has been our favorite server) and the food is always incredible!! The Cajun Seared Walu Sashimi is the best Sashimi that we’ve had anywhere in the world. Sensei will ALWAYS be on our itinerary whenever we’re in Honolulu.

We have been coming here every time we visit Honolulu. The food is simply fantastic and the service by the sushi masters as well as the rest of the staff is flawless. We look forward to our next visit and another wonderful meal. This is a memorable restaurant and a place you simply must go if you enjoy sushi.

Consistently good service and food For this high end type of restaurant they should have a better check in process There is constantly walk ins from the hotel that run in ahead of people with reservations There should be a defined separate method for those coming in who have made reservations months ahead like most locals do than those walking in It’s like a cattle stampede with rude people pushing into one small doorway No other high end restaurant has this issue. Servers and food are great. Even the limited eating time works because orders come out quickly. But the entry always causes some anxiety Fix that and it’s a perfect place to eat
