- RRonVIPOrange County •23 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI went there with the expectation that I would not allow the costs of the dishes discourage me; and I didn't. I started with hot sake, which was wonderful. I ordered mackeral and a skewer of scallops wrapped in bacon. I loved both dishes. The only thing I missed was rice being served with the sashimi. The menu indicates the mackeral sushi has rice, of course; but the shashimi mackeral says: "no rice". At other Japanese restaurants sashimi comes with rice. I should have asked the waitress whether I could order some rice ala carte. We finished dinner with Japanese cheese cake and tea. It was wonderful. I look forward to my next visit there.More infoOkura Robata Grill and Sushi Bar - La QuintaPrice: Expensive• Sushi• La Quinta•4.6
- CCatherineVIPChicago / Illinois •61 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had some of the best Sushi rolls ever. Very fresh and innovative combinations. It's kind of fun that some of the specialty rolls are named after local golf clubs. We enjoyed a California roll with purple rice and fresh crab ( you have to request fresh and pay a bit more) loved the Roadrunner and the Philadelphia roll. Only wish they had a full liquor license vs just beer and wine.More infoCoral Sushi & Sake BarPrice: Moderate• Sushi• La Quinta•4.6

We introduced some friends to Mitch’s and like us, they will be back. What a terrific Tuesday. Mitch’s is one of our very favorites.More infoMitch's on El Paseo Prime SeafoodPrice: Expensive• Californian• Palm Desert•4.8

Our fabulous waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, kept our spectacular food coming (can't say enough about the tempura soft shell crabs and the zucchini blossom lobster). The sorbets perfectly cleansed the palette. Were we all happy. 100%More infoSandfish Sushi & WhiskeyPrice: Moderate• Sushi• Palm Springs•4.5
