- JJohannaAngus/Fife •2 reviews5.0Dined on 11 Jan 2025We visited on 11 January for lunch and spent the afternoon. From the start the staff were welcoming, friendly, efficient and checked in on us without being overbearing. The waiting staff on shift that day are a credit to the company. The food was delicious and the restaurant was comfortable, beautifully decorated and warm. The music was a little loud where we sat but was turned down when we asked. The only thing that lets the place down are the toilets which are very cold. One toilet was out of order and the other barely locked and although it has a sink in it, you have to come out into the main room to dry your hands. However, this did not detract from what was a great afternoon catching up with a friend with no rush to move on by the staff. Looking forward to visiting again.More infoThe Nest by The Giddy GoosePrice: Moderate• Scottish• Forfar•4.7
