Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. The whole experience was enjoyable. It was nice to be in a restaurant that was not too busy at this time of year. The food was fresh and flavourful (particularly the Thai Green curry and Massaman). The salad was disappointing, mainly because, apart from the delicious dressing, it was a basic British Little Gem, cucumber and tomato salad. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous as always! The Green Papaya Salad & soups are magnificent favorites. As are the salmon and Pad Thai dishes. Remains our “go-to”in “the ‘hood” with friends and family and out-of-towners, and when it’s just the two of us. Can’t be beat for a truly delicious casual meal.
