Despite the chilly 27-degree weather in Northern Virginia, the cozy, warm ambiance inside the restaurant made for a perfect refuge. The service was exceptional, with our cheery server striking the ideal balance between being attentive and giving us space to enjoy our meal. Their helpful demeanor added a special touch to our morning. We opted for the breakfast buffet, which is our favorite and never fails to impress. I indulged in my all-time favorite pancakes paired with a comforting cup of spirit hot tea while my fiancé enjoyed a refreshing red grapefruit, fluffy scrambled eggs, and crispy home-fried potatoes. To top it off, we shared a steaming Americano that perfectly complemented the meal, especially with my fiancé's breakfast. The food was delicious, the service outstanding, and the atmosphere welcoming—a great start to our weekend. Founding Farmers continues to set the standard for a hearty, satisfying breakfast experience. Highly recommended!More infoFounding Farmers VA: Reston StationPrice: Moderate• American• Reston•4.4

- LLauraWashington, D.C. Area •18 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoA great brunch: the best lemon ricotta pancakes (based on sampling my companion’s) and bagel with smoked salmon I’ve ever had, along with mixed berries, a delicious Bellini and freshly squeezed juices. Portions are generous and attractively presented, service is terrific (attentive and courteous), and the dining room is attractive and light-filled. I’m inspired to return for dinner as well as brunch!More infoThe PembrokePrice: Expensive• Global, International• Dupont Circle•4.6

The food is always well prepared, delicious and served quickly by very lovely servers. We especially like the beet and orange salad and the Di Mare pizza which is made with pesto and shrimp. It's also conveniently located across the street from the Smithsonian Portrait Gallery/American Art Museum. We love Ella's!More infoElla's Wood Fired KitchenPrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• Penn Quarter•4.7
