- JJohnVIPLondon •55 reviews5.0Dined on 13 Dec 2024Underdog has been named Austin’s Best New Restaurant 2023 and one of Austin’s best restaurants — but it’s still underrated, in my humble opinion. It’s that good. Underdog should be named the the best in Texas, the Southwest, the U.S. Underdog’s food keeps getting better and better. Underdog’s wine program is top notch. Co-owner Richard Hargreave is among the country’s best wine professionals. I’ve been around the block a few times in this department and Richard shows me something new every time I go. All I say is “hey Rich — what should I get?” Spot on. And Underdog’s service team is so sweet. Most have been there since the start — which says a lot about the place. Go now.More infoUnderdogPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Asian• Bouldin Creek•4.5
