Best Wine Bars in Turtle Creek / Oak Lawn

We received excellent service from Oscar in the lounge area. Our food was outstanding, some of the best we have enjoyed in Uptown Dallas. Steak was incredible quality, cooked perfectly, seasoned simply letting the flavor of the steak shine. Tuna entree was extremely flavorful and a large portion. Coconut cream pie is a must for desert. Definitely will be back to dine again.

Had a wonderful lunch. It was not crowded. I have often enjoyed dinner there when it has been very busy. The food is excellently prepared and plated. I had the grilled octopus entre and it was perfectly cooked / moist and juicy. My friend had one of the most beautiful presentations of beef short ribs I have ever seen. Huge bone in. And the veal meat balls appetizer was also great 👍

The complete experience was fantastic. Bernie provided attentive service, and her recommendations were perfect. It was one of the best meals I've had in many years.

The ambience was very warm and inviting, all the staff we encountered were very friendly and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back and will spread the word of this gem of a restaurant. Thank you for making my daughter’s bday dinner memorable!

My only reason for give four stars on the overall category is due to the confusion of booking/making a reservation for this restaurant. We was not aware this is actually TWO different restaurants with "Vino" being on one side, while "Carbone" is on the other side. When I made my reservation - I thought I was reserving for the "Carbone" side (not realizing this was a different restaurant, of course). We had already looked at the menu online and through OpenTable which is the menu for "Carbone". Once our server came out and handed us the menu, we was confused as we did not see anything mentioned online that she was telling us. When we asked her, that is when she explained the difference in the two different restaurants, which we was not aware of. She then informed us we have to get a "reservation" card at the front host stand to email and make a reservation for the "Carbone" side of the restaurant. Said all of that to say - 1) this should be better explained when making a reservation and 2) the restaurant should have both menus easily and most definitely understandable that there are two different menus due to there being two different restaurants right next to one another. The service and food was great - so this does not fall on them - this falls on the owners/management of this establishment.
