The starter salad was excellent. Osso buco is one of my favorite dishes. This Pork Osso Buco was one of the best I have ever had. A perfectly cooked pork shank nestled in a well-seasoned, but NOT overly salted sauce rich in carrots, other veggies, and pasta. A superb dish, more French than Italian in style. My wife had the pork belly appetizer followed by the rack of lamb. She thought both dishes were excellent. We both had the chocolate mousse for dessert. It was marvelous, and accompanied by a scoop of ice cream and a fruit medley topping. All in all, each dish was superb. The wine list included many excellent choices in the $50-75 range. Service was excellent. Ambience was quiet and comfortable. We will return many times !More infoTerraCotta Wine BistroPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Santa Fe•4.6

The basil-wrapped shrimp we so savory and fragrant, and the accompanying chutney perfectly balanced with sweet and tart--chopped almonds added a lovely texture. The porcini mushroom soup was worth stealing a pint to take home an try to replicate (we restrained ourselves). Did I mention all this happened under the watchful attention of our server who checked in and out just as we needed her--mind reader. Entrees of beef bourguignon and vegetarian cavatelli were also outstanding with myriad flavors, perfectly cooked and apportioned. I will dream of the whipped potatoes. Desserts of pot-de-creme and creme brulee were also highlight--a top 10 brulee all time. Cocktails and wine before and during, at happy hour prices, and memories galore to walk home. We will be back!More info315 Restaurant & Wine BarPrice: Expensive• French• Santa Fe•4.8
- PPauleneNew Mexico •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe drove to Santa Fe from Albuquerque to try La Boca for Valentine’s Day. As you can assume it was quite packed and the restaurant is not very large, but all of the servers and staff in the restaurant were very attentive and kind. We were talked through the Sherry Flight, and tried the 3 course tasting menu. First course was a soup or salad, so we ordered one of each. The main was a chorizo, goat cheese and chili sandwich, and dessert was a chocolate mousse. The spoon was a little larger for the mousse vessel but it was quite funny trying to figure out how to get everything out of the container. We even made acquaintances with the table next to us. Overall it was a nice time, I’d love to go back on a less busy day!More infoLa Boca - Santa FePrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Santa Fe•4.8
