Best Wine Bars in University Circle

Our first visit to Cooper’s Hawk - the ambiance is warm, welcoming and comfortable - very ADA friendly for a wheelchair. The menu is diverse, more creative than most and all items were as described on the menu - and delicious. We had four apps, two salads and dessert. Everything was great! The tuna sashimi was well prepared, fresh and delicious. The tempura shrimp and the bacon-wrapped shrimp had delicious sauces and nice sized shrimp. The arancini were very tasty. The option of gourmet truffles for dessert is novel and provides the perfect finish of “a little something sweet”. Cortez was our server and was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, focused on the customer experience and relatable while professional. We could not sample the wines due to med issues, but the tasting room was lovely. With gift items that were enticing. A great addition to the Avon dining scene! We will be back!

First visit and we were not disappointed. Meatball appetizer and truffle fries were delicious. Cocktail was perfect. We had chicken parmigiana and the lobster ravioli which were both excellent. Server was attentive without being annoying. Looking forward to visiting again!

It was our first time there , it was an amazing experience, our waitress Gaby was professional, knowledgeable, answer all our questions and been the face of the company I have to say that I was impressed!!! Hope she gets recognized for her outstanding service. I am not the one to convince easily but the way she presented the benefits of the wine club she sold me. Great place , great food and great service!!! Thank you Gaby!!

Today was the second year our family celebrated Thanksgiving at Capital Grille. The Thanksgiving menu and our server, Phil were outstanding. Phil has been our server in the past, so we were delighted when he came to our table. Capital Grille continues to be our favorite Cleveland restaurant!

Service was outstanding. Great place for a special and memorable meal. Menu is manageable which we appreciated.
