Located in the Heart of Sonoma Valley, Loxton Cellars is a working winery surrounded by 5 acres of estate vineyard. It is the intent of owner/winemaker, Chris Loxton, to produce handcrafted wines, made without compromise, that show balance and a sense of place. Wine tastings (no food) are currently offered by reservation and take place outdoors allowing guests to enjoy a lineup of handcrafted wines while taking in breathtaking views of the Mayacamas mountain range. Tastings are $20/person, include a flight of 5 wines and offer a casual and educational experience. In the event of rain we do have you covered, but it can be a bit chilly this time of year so we suggest bringing layers. While we do not sell or serve food, you are welcome to bring snacks or lunch to enjoy in the picnic area.     We had Christmas dinner here, and it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious. Two of us had the squid ink linguini with mixed shellfish and my husband had the chicken parm. Portions were quite small on the linguini dish and I kind of wish our meals could have included a salad or something, but that’s ok. Service was extremely quick and super-friendly. I would love to go back if we’re in the area again!

    Willi’s is a fun dining experience that surpasses most dining establishments in Santa Rosa. We love the shared plates with smaller portions that allow us to sample a variety of the creative culinary options they offer. Definitely try their version of Oysters Rockefeller, the warm spinach salad and the Waygu beef tarike. The Moroccan lamb is amazing! They offer a unique selection of wines, too. The Sancerre paired with the oysters- mmmm! The wait staff is the best and always always friendly. Highly recommend Willi’s!

    John and team continue to do an outstanding job pairing wines with delicious food selections. The pairings often are novel and a nice way to introduce pairings one might not typically consider. We’ll definitely be back.
