Otherwise it was good!More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Columbus, OHPrice: Moderate• American• Columbus•4.7

We used to visit the location in Miami, which is legendary—so we had high expectations on our first visit to the Columbus location. We loved it. The hosts were professional. The service from Antonio was stellar. The bacon app was delicious. We loved our sides—truffle fries, creamed corn, mashed potatoes—they were delicious, fresh and not greasy. So many local steakhouses offer heavy, oily, salty sides but Capital Grille prepares food well. The 10oz filets were flavorful. The sea bass was sublime and the bone in ribeye (without porcini crust) was the best we’ve had in town. Sauces were flavorful, light and Not salty like those at the other places. The Caesar salad was good but not as crisp as we’d like. The bread basket was nice/-there is charge for bread like other places. We dined in the boardroom which has several tables off the main dining room. The music and noise level allowed for easy conversation at our table for six. There is a coat check —be sure to ask, One shouldn’t have to sit on a coat when fine dining. I hope Cap Grille maintains these standards!More infoThe Capital Grille - ColumbusPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Columbus•4.7
- JJordanColumbus •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy partner and I visited Choutte for dinner prior to heading to the Ohio Theater to see Peter Pan. Seated at a 2 top to the right of the stairs. Our server Thomas was top notch, attentive and explained any questions we had about the menu. A lot of activity coming from the kitchen, but I like watching the food come out. We started with the foie gras as well as the chicken liver mousse. Both solid dishes, but the foie gras was our favorite of the two. We did the Bouillabaisse for two and I’m so glad we did. It was fantastic. Fairly substantial portions of seafood and the stock was so hard for me to not continue mopping up with bread till it was gone. We finished up by splitting the chocolate mousse (wish I had ordered my own) and having a cappuccino. We really enjoyed our visit and plan to return, especially for the bouillabaisse.More infoChouettePrice: Expensive• French• Columbus•4.5

It left an unpleasant aftertaste that stayed with me the rest of the evening. Everything else was good and I would very much recommend this dining experience.More infoThe Plaza Restaurant at Sheraton Columbus at Capitol SquarePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Columbus•3.7
