Best Wineries in New Tampa

Kelli, our waitrous was fantastic as usual. However, there was a problem when we went to pick up our wine. At the bar cash register, 2 ladies in front of us proceeded to do a wine tasting AT THE REGISTER, preventing anyone from picking up or purchasing wine. They were on their 3rd glass and after 10 minutes in line, another associate shouted over the counter if we had been helped. The 2 ladies were still doing a tasting and the line at the register was now 10 people deep. The associate behind the register SHOULD have known better and moved them to the bar area for their wine tasting.

The Feast of the Seven Fishes was a real delight. Nothing like anything else we've ever even seen. Sword fish and tuna carpaccio! I've never heard of such delights, and the octopus salami was absolutely amazing. All the courses were fantastic. The sauce on the mussels I could drink like soup, and the lobster risotto was so creamy and delicious, topped with a perfectly seared pair of the largest sea scallops I've ever seen. This was the most unique and ambitious take on the Seven Fishes meal I've seen. We had a great recommended wine pairing as well, a white Bordeaux. My sincerest compliments to Chef Chris for putting on such a wonderful event.

Dinner at Capital Grille was excellent. Our server, Anjelica, was friendly, helpful, and professional. She provided the perfect amount of attention without being obtrusive. She helped my husband choose between two dishes and he was happy with her suggestion. It was a busy night and food delivery slowed a bit, but she kept us informed and made sure to accommodate us with a surprise at the end of the meal. The food was excellent and other staff made brief appearances to check on us. Great place for a nice meal.

Early dinner for 5 adults. Gluten free and vegan all satisfied. It’s been a good while since we have partaken in the faire, but this nites review is: the best food, service and ambience we have EVER experienced at 52. We will be back.

The Living Room exceeded all of our expectations, and the absolute highlight of our experience was Vanessa! She was incredible—from the moment we sat down, she established rapport so quickly and made us feel right at home. Vanessa is not only friendly and hilarious but also incredibly attentive, making sure every part of our dining experience was perfect. Her quick wit and genuine care added so much joy to our evening, turning a great meal into an unforgettable experience. The food and atmosphere were fantastic, but Vanessa truly made it next level. We would 10/10 recommend The Living Room, and if you get Vanessa as your server, you’re in for a treat! Can’t wait to come back!
