Customshop is a chef-driven restaurant that showcases local farms and purveyors in an effort to bring our guests the highest quality ingredients within our community. Executive Chef and Owner Andres Kaifer along with his team believe in crafting honest straightforward food with an elevated modern touch that delivers something truly unique. Weekly menu changes allow us to highlight the seasonality of food and the beauty of North Carolina produce, seafood, and specialty items. With stylistic inspiration from Spain, Italy, and France, our neighborhood restaurant aims to make everyone feel welcome.     Greg, our server was outstanding. The pasta dishes were excellent. They arrived hot, which I love. The empanada was average. The filling was bland and cold. I would fill them with hot filling or be sure they were reheated long enough so that the entire thing is hot not just the crust.

    We all ate all of our food. Just a little salty. Desserts were way smaller than normal.

    Lovely ambiance and pretty good food but service is subpar for price. Expectations should be set up front for large groups - tell us in advance if we are going to be expected to dine quickly, and ensure that your service is efficient at taking orders and do things like have place settings ready before the food arrives. It’s also cold, HVAC needs improvement.

    Service was ok but 1) we weren’t informed of special, 2) took too long for drinks and 3) server said a dish did not have a lot of dairy when asked but when we received the dish it was heavy dairy
