Restaurant was closed! No notice or warning. Showed up for lunch and saw handwritten sign that it was closed for 2 weeks! I was even reminded to confirm I was coming the day prior!

Service was a little slow considering we were in a mostly empty restaurant. However we were “early birding” dinner at 5:30 on a Friday as we had an event at 7 that evening. That comment notwithstanding, we would highly recommend Da Claudio as the food was exceptional!

Authentic Italian cuisine. I enjoy the food and service every time I come here. After pandemic, so many restaurants lost quality but raised the price. Da Claudio still keeps good quality with a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

There are so many good restaurants in New York Ciry, but this isn’t one of them. Had a Caesar salad and lasagna, classic Italian dishes, and they were both subpar. It is unfortunate that we stumbled across this on our trip. Please don’t waste your time or your money.

Da Claudio consistently delivers authentic, delicious Italian dishes with friendly, quick service. Favorite dishes include sausage shishito pepper pasta, lamb saffron ragu, scalloppine di pollo and tagliata. We had the special salad, of cucumbers, radicchio, orange, mild goat cheese, slivers of red onion in sherry vinaigrette - refreshing and delicious. The wine list is an extensive and carefully curated tour de force of Italian wines, with unique and delicious examples of many Italian classic grapes, great value for money. Always a delight!
