   We seriously had the best server- I think his name was Brian. I was there for my birthday with some friends and had a really great evening. The food was so delicious, and the place is simply beautiful. The only downside is the wine list and how the wine is stored. It was very warm in the restaurant and most of the wine is stored upstairs. I think it affected our wine as it tasted bad. The wi e selection was interesting but limited. The had 2 Chiantis and 3 Toscanos. And the better Chianti I wanted that was on the menu was out of stock. No Barolo, or Valpocellio (I know I’m not spelling that correctly) or anything else in red served by the glass which was very disappointing. Our server was super helpful and attentive- he was the best!

   Very tasty food! Love the option of small plates to share or regular sized entrees. Warm friendly atmosphere...Davanti is one of my faves!

   I went to davanti in western springs with my daughter and her friends on a Saturday night to celebrate her birthday. The manager Scott was great and made us feel at home from the minute we walked in. The staff was great with the girls and the food was perfect. We will definitely go back. Thanks for the very enjoyable evening!

   Extraordinary ambiance and service! Food was also excellent! Very romantic setting for a valentine day celebration of a birthday and anniversary which was greatly enhanced by simply amazing singing by Adam (one of the staff), who made it super special for us! This was our 5th time at this place but every time it is great!

   Brian was wonderful. We had an early dinner and gave us great suggestions and was super accommodating. Overall a great dining experience on a much needed night out with my husband. We will ask for Brian again.
