   Every single item we have ever ordered has been excellent. The staff is always excellent. The atmosphere is always excellent. There’s nothing not to like about Davanti WS.

   As fans of the Scott Harris restaurants, we visit the Francessca restaurants in the southern suburbs, but take a longer hike up to Davonta's because the restaurant typically has a totally different menu than the Francessca's we go to. Unfortunately, in our opinion, Davonta's in evolving to the same menu items. While a few items such as the ragu and polenta remain and are delicious, the "specialty" concept appears to be on the way out, which will certainly have an impact upon our desire to make the 55 minute trek to get here. We understand the challenges of the restaurant business, and their approach, I guess makes good business sense. We are always pleased by the managers who great us and treat us so well. That said, there were multiple opportunities for better service from our waiter who seemed friendly but quite inattentive.

   Our server was excellent! Everyone who helped our group of four was outstanding. The food and drinks were great as always and we had one last drink at the bar. The bartender did a fabulous job as well.

   Late Sunday night dinner is the way to go for a quiet experience. Very nice.

    We seriously had the best server- I think his name was Brian. I was there for my birthday with some friends and had a really great evening. The food was so delicious, and the place is simply beautiful. The only downside is the wine list and how the wine is stored. It was very warm in the restaurant and most of the wine is stored upstairs. I think it affected our wine as it tasted bad. The wi e selection was interesting but limited. The had 2 Chiantis and 3 Toscanos. And the better Chianti I wanted that was on the menu was out of stock. No Barolo, or Valpocellio (I know I’m not spelling that correctly) or anything else in red served by the glass which was very disappointing. Our server was super helpful and attentive- he was the best!
