We ordered soup. We had to send one vegtable soup back as it tasted of nothing. The chicken soup was watery and fatty tasting. I often buy chicken soup at daylesford - this was a watered down version. The vegtable soup was supposedly swopped for a chicken soup. Clearly a bit of chicken had been added to some of the vegetables which was still very unsatisfying.

The food was excellent although I think it is more of a café / breakfast and lunch place rather than dinner. Unfortunately 35 minutes after ordering we were told the chef was having an issue with one of the dishes so could we please choose an alternative (we got free bread and olives whilst waiting). Then we waited a further 30 minutes for the food to arrive. The rose wine wasn't chilled (although they did pre warn us). We received no discount from the £78 bill (for 2 burgers and a bottle of wine). Overall sadly it was a little disappointing although the food was excellent, so perhaps a place for lunch rather than dinner.

we have been twice. Breakfast with excellent gluten free toast was really good. Dinner was not great, butternutsquash soup tasted really boring, bread was burnt. I asked for a small glas of dry white wine. The waiter brought a big glass telli ng me then , they only serve une size, for 10,95

Went in for a supper on a Friday evening. The place was very quiet - only three other tables. We weren’t in a hurry but the service was slow and forgetful. Food was nice but nothing special to justify the premium pricetag. I’d certainly go back for brunch as it seems more that kind of place. I didn’t feel the evening offer was working though.

Terrible slow service despite only two tables being occupied. Waiter spoke poor English. Food was very average!

Thank you. The meal was fine. The eating space is a bit dark with no windows. But the food is always nice.

Having been to Daylesford for breakfast and lunch this was the first time I was there for dinner. I had been to the Serpentine, and wanted somewhere nearby where I knew the food would be healthy and tasty. I brought along my friend who had never been to Daylesford and he absolutely loved it. It is relaxed, the food is fresh and very reasonable price wise. I would certainly go again, and I will tell others. Thank you guys, you are doing a great job!
