    I'm going to address the biggest problem I have with this restaurant then I'll get to the food. There is a 3% "Kitchen Fair Wage Supplement" added to all checks that I was unaware of. This includes alcoholic drinks as well. I obviously didn't have my menu when the check came but I'm sure it's in the fine print somewhere. To the management: When people come to eat they typically look at menu items and prices. I AM NOT YOUR ACCOUNTANT! You've been in business long enough to just raise prices and pay your own employees that aren't serving. Do you think I would not have gotten the filet if it were $61.80 instead of $60.00? What's next? Maybe a 5% property tax supplement? Emily our server was excellent!!! Very attentive and kind. The drinks were good. The two filets were cooked a perfect medium rare which is how I know it wasn't the greatest cut of meat. Nothing you couldn't get a Texas Roadhouse. Certainly not indicative of a $60 price even for a ski town. My son's bison short rib was one of the best I've ever tasted. The sides were potatoes and chef's vegetables which were Brussel sprouts and squash. The sprouts were hard as rocks and the squash had some kind of cinnamon glaze that wasn't appetizing. Mashed potatoes were good. Ceasar salad was good as well.

    We had diner at Denos last night. Our waiter was excellent! We ordered the pork shank & the elk bolognese. The pork shank was very flavorful, but fatty at the bottom. The bolognese was lukewarm. I recommend not ordering anything fancy at this restaurant; stick to pizza & other bar food. We were disappointed with our meals & will not return to Denos in the future.

    We'd not made it to this Winter Park institution since Covid. Fantastic food, service & experience overall. Loved that it was super casual and cozy but the food wowed us! Service was excellent as well.

    Bison short ribs were tough. Had to use a steak knife to cut. The Baklava was cold and frozen in the middle. Why would you freeze Baklava?

    The table was in a crowded corner, not in the main dining room complete with paper napkins. We sat for over 5 minutes before being offered even a water. Our waiter took our initial app and drink order then vanished for 20 minutes. A kitchen server brought our apps and we were finished with them before we were able to flag down our waiter for refills and to place our dinner order. We all had steaks. The order was incorrect and only decent as steaks go. Definitely not worth $150 per person!!
